Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology organization seeking an Industrial Design CAD Expert for a contract engagement. This is a fully remote position where you'll leverage your domain expertise in mechanical design and CAD assemblies to support an innovative AI training initiative. No prior AI experience is required—your technical knowledge and attention to detail are what matter most.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format, evaluating design intent and technical specifications
• Author clear, objective technical questions with exact answers based on assembly details, functions, and engineering principles
• Develop multiple unique questions per assembly to ensure comprehensive coverage of structure, function, and component relationships
• Ensure all submitted questions and answers meet strict standards for clarity, precision, and unambiguity to support data quality requirements
• Apply mechanical engineering or industrial design expertise to identify critical assembly features and technical nuances
• Collaborate with project coordinators and provide constructive feedback for process improvement

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design with strong foundational CAD knowledge
• Expertise interpreting multi-part assembly drawings, technical documentation, and CAD files
• Proven track record authoring technical documentation, assessment materials, or similar structured content
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD software environments (FreeCAD experience is a plus but not required)
• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and consistently meet project expectations
• Interest in supporting technical education or innovative technology initiatives through expert-driven content
