Senior Software Engineer (GOlang, AI domain)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise AI platform provider seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang, AI domain) to join their specialized AI execution team. In this role, you will develop mission-critical features and services including AI chatbot dispatching and balancing synchronous and asynchronous AI execution. Your responsibilities include:

• Building high-performance gateways and routing components for AI workloads
• Developing server-side infrastructure for logging and monitoring at enterprise scale
• Working closely with Infrastructure and SRE teams to ensure high availability and scalability requirements are met
• Collaborating with AI teams to design and implement innovative features for next-generation AI assistants
• Contributing at all phases of the development lifecycle from design to production
• Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code in Go
• Evaluating and proposing improvements to existing distributed systems
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies for architectural review

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering
• 4+ years of strong backend experience with Go language
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of distributed web application components: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems
• Understanding of performance bottlenecks and optimization strategies
• At least basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and configuration
• English proficiency for technical collaboration with distributed teams
• Readiness to work remotely with globally distributed teams across timezones

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with Docker and container isolation technologies
• Experience with Redis-based caching solutions
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with third-party REST APIs at scale (throttling, batch processing)
• Background in DevOps, ML, or enterprise application development
• Full-cycle product feature delivery mindset from design through maintenance
