VP, Strategic Operations (UK & EU)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health organization in their search for a VP, Strategic Operations to lead expansion efforts across the UK and European markets. This senior leadership position will own the strategy and execution behind new market entries, product launches, and strategic partnerships across the region.

Our client is building a global healthcare platform and needs an exceptional operator who can take complex initiatives from concept through launch. You'll build the operational infrastructure required to enter new markets, stand up new capabilities, and establish strategic partnerships—all while navigating the regulatory and operational differences across UK and EU markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Strategic Operations function across UK and Europe, building operational capabilities to support new markets, categories, and partnerships
• Take new operational capabilities from feasibility through design, build, launch, and stabilization
• Develop launch and operational strategies based on business priorities, translating them into executable plans across pharmacy, fulfillment, diagnostics, manufacturing, and supply chain
• Determine where global operating models can be leveraged and where local regulations, infrastructure, or customer needs require different approaches
• Partner with international leadership to assess operational feasibility, complexity, investment requirements, and sequencing of growth opportunities
• Lead cross-functional execution across Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical teams
• Own operational relationships with strategic third-party pharmacies, labs, providers, and other partners across UK and Europe
• Evaluate build, buy, and partner decisions for each opportunity
• Build repeatable approaches that enable faster launch and scaling of new markets and capabilities
• Build and lead a high-performing Strategic Operations team

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or international expansion, including significant leadership experience
• Experience in a regulated operating environment; pharmacy, healthcare, digital health, or diagnostics strongly preferred
• Proven track record of building something new from the ground up—whether a market, category, facility, partnership, or operational capability
• Experience operating across UK and/or Europe and navigating regulatory, infrastructure, and operational differences across markets
• Strong business and operational judgment with ability to understand complex problems and identify critical decisions
• Ability to move between strategy and execution, from designing operating models to implementation details
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and track record of driving outcomes across teams you don't directly manage
• Experience building and managing complex external partnerships
• Track record of creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without unnecessary bureaucracy
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• German, French, and/or Spanish language skills are a plus
• Ability to travel up to 30%, including across UK, Europe, and the United States

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £170,000 – £190,000 plus equity
