About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential environmental engineering firm based in Radebeul, Germany. Our client is a motivated team of specialists focused on sustainable water management and ecological restoration projects. They are seeking a Project Engineer or Landscape Architect to join their team and contribute to meaningful environmental work.

This role offers the opportunity to work on projects that deliver measurable ecological impact, improving natural habitats and strengthening water systems through nature-based engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement ecological river and stream development projects across all HOAI phases (German planning standards, Part 3 Object Planning, Sections 2 and 3), including construction supervision
• Manage, coordinate, and provide technical expertise for stream restoration and nature-based water engineering projects, with particular emphasis on bioengineering construction methods
• Communicate effectively with clients, planning partners, project stakeholders, and permitting authorities
• Contribute directly to ecological enhancement of water bodies and improvement of natural habitats

What We're Looking For

• Degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, environmental engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of or interest in ecological water management, stream restoration, and bioengineering construction techniques
• Familiarity with HOAI planning phases and project coordination
• Strong communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders and authorities
• Fluency in German (required for client and regulatory communication)
• Commitment to sustainable, nature-based engineering solutions
