Senior Business Analyst* – Wealth Management & Advisory Platforms

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential wealth management organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a significant global transformation of their investment and advisory platforms. In this role, you will:

• Design end-to-end investment advisory journeys spanning service model selection, client profiling, suitability assessment, portfolio construction, investment proposals, execution, and reporting
• Define requirements for suitability and profiling capabilities, including risk assessment, knowledge and experience evaluation, ESG considerations, eligibility criteria, and investment restrictions
• Develop specifications for portfolio construction and advisory functionality, covering asset allocation, investment models, risk considerations, and client-specific constraints
• Support discretionary portfolio management (DPM) features including portfolio setup, monitoring, rebalancing, and lifecycle servicing
• Translate business, investment, and regulatory requirements into business requirements documents, use cases, business rules, user stories, and MVP backlogs
• Support implementation activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regional rollout coordination
• Contribute to harmonizing advisory journeys and investment services across multiple regions while supporting the migration from legacy platforms

What We're Looking For

• Extensive business analysis experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory, or investment platform environments
• Deep understanding of comprehensive investment advisory journeys, including client profiling, suitability processes, and advisory workflows
• Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, discretionary portfolio management (DPM), and related investment processes
• Understanding of securities, investment products, investment services, and execution within wealth management contexts
• Proven experience in complex wealth management platform transformations with the ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable technical specifications
• Fluency in German and English required for this Frankfurt-based hybrid position
