The Opportunity

Sysco is seeking experienced commercial drivers to operate Class A vehicles on established local delivery routes throughout the Tucson area. You'll be responsible for transporting food products and supplies to restaurants, hospitality venues, and foodservice institutions on a daily basis. This role combines vehicle operation with customer service, as you'll represent Sysco's commitment to reliability and professionalism at every stop. Working local routes means you return to your home base each shift, supporting a sustainable work-life balance while earning competitive full-time compensation as a valued team member.

Core Duties

• Operate a commercial Class A vehicle safely and in compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations
• Execute assigned delivery routes to multiple customer locations within the Tucson region
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Load, secure, and unload food products and supplies while maintaining product integrity
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, signatures, and route records
• Interact professionally with customers and address their specific delivery requirements
• Adhere to safety protocols, driving regulations, and company operational standards

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Class A endorsement
• Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Clean driving record free of serious violations
• Minimum of one year commercial driving experience (preferred)
• Ability to safely lift and handle food products regularly
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Knowledge of Tucson area geography or willingness to learn delivery routes
