We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for a Senior iOS Developer to join their mobile development team in Mexico. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is seeking an experienced iOS professional who can lead projects, mentor developers, and deliver exceptional mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications using modern frameworks and best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define app requirements and deliver outstanding user experiences
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across devices
- Integrate mobile applications with backend systems using APIs, message brokers, databases, and cloud services
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt
- Stay current with iOS development best practices, emerging trends, and platform updates
- Ensure applications meet security and data privacy compliance requirements
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical standards
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional iOS application development experience
- Expert proficiency with Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, Cocoa Touch, and UIKit
- Strong understanding of iOS design patterns including MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, and Delegate/Protocol patterns
- Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations
- Proven track record writing unit and UI tests for robustness, edge cases, and reliability
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git
- Deep understanding of Apple's design principles and Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience using Swift Package Manager for dependency management
- Performance and memory tuning experience with tools such as Instruments
- Solid grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of security best practices for mobile applications
Nice to Have:
- Experience with modularization strategies and managing large codebases
- Knowledge of Flutter or React Native for cross-platform development
- Published applications on the Apple App Store
- Experience in fintech or payment systems
