AI Enablement Lead [gn] Data Intelligence

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and scale their internal AI transformation strategy. This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership role based in Europe (Remote).

You will build the foundational platforms, tooling, and frameworks that enable engineering teams across the organization to deploy AI capabilities safely and at scale. This is not a research position—you are a practical builder who establishes LLMOps/MLOps practices, develops agentic workflows, and directly impacts product capabilities through production-ready AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core AI orchestration layers, centralized API gateways, and reusable frameworks (advanced RAG architectures, agentic frameworks) for company-wide consumption
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed production-ready generative AI and machine learning features into the data platform
• Establish LLMOps and governance infrastructure including guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for model performance, bias, privacy, and security
• Optimize cloud and API compute spend through token management and open-source vs. commercial model selection; reduce execution latency for production AI features
• Lead cross-functional upskilling through workshops, blueprints, and documentation to empower teams to build AI-driven features independently
• Drive rapid prototyping from proof-of-concept to production, ensuring scalable, production-grade code
• Define and enforce the organization's official AI stack, including vector database selection, embedding strategies, and semantic caching
• Evaluate and manage AI model provider partnerships and assess cutting-edge open-source models
• Track operational metrics such as developer adoption rates, time-to-market reduction, and ROI of AI tooling

What We're Looking For

• Technical background as a Senior AI/ML Engineer, LLMOps Engineer, or Software Architect with proven experience building and scaling AI-powered applications in enterprise SaaS or complex data platforms
• Deep expertise in Python or Go, semantic search, vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector), orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and fine-tuning or prompt engineering of Large Language Models
• High-agency mindset with extreme ownership—you proactively build frameworks that solve bottlenecks before teams identify them
• Software engineering rigor: strong understanding of CI/CD, unit testing for AI (evaluation datasets), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and clean code architecture
• Leadership without authority: ability to inspire and align engineering teams around a shared technical vision across organizational boundaries
• Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written) to translate complex AI concepts into clear business value for stakeholders and executives
