Facility Manager

JLL is seeking a detail-oriented Facility Manager to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This is a full-time position where you'll oversee daily facility operations and ensure our workspace runs smoothly and efficiently.

What This Role Involves

As Facility Manager at JLL in Mississauga, you'll be the backbone of our operational excellence. You'll manage building systems, coordinate maintenance schedules, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure our facilities meet safety standards and compliance requirements. Your focus will be on creating a well-maintained, productive environment where our team can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance with external contractors and internal staff
• Monitor facility budgets and manage vendor contracts to optimise costs without compromising quality
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure adherence to building codes and regulations
• Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies with efficiency and professionalism
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory
• Collaborate with departments across JLL to understand and address facility needs

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in facility management or building operations
• Knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and health & safety regulations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with facility management software and basic computer systems
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent issues
• Relevant certifications or training in facility management is valued
