Desenvolvedor Senior / Tech Lead

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential agribusiness technology organization seeking a Senior Developer / Tech Lead to join their engineering team in Brazil. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the technical reference for the development team, supporting decisions around architecture, standards, and tooling
• Actively participate in code reviews and establish best practices across the engineering organization
• Collaborate on designing and evolving solutions alongside the solutions architect
• Ensure technical quality of software deliverables including testing, performance, security, observability, and maintainability
• Support the team in breaking down requirements into technical specifications, estimates, and delivery planning
• Partner with Product Managers/Owners and cross-functional teams (Design, Business, Data, Infrastructure) to align priorities and technical feasibility
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including refactoring, automation, and technical debt reduction
• Mentor developers at various levels, supporting career development and knowledge sharing
• Participate in incident investigation and resolution, proposing preventive actions through post-mortems and root cause analysis
• Contribute to building a strong engineering culture that is collaborative and results-oriented

What We're Looking For

Technical Requirements:

• Solid experience as a senior software developer with hands-on development expertise
• Previous experience leading teams or projects technically (as Tech Lead, Technical Leader, Software Architect or equivalent role)
• Mastery of at least one modern programming language:
  • Back-end: Java, C#, Node.js, Go, Python, or similar
  • Front-end: JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices (SOLID, Clean Code, etc.)
• Experience with REST APIs (GraphQL a plus), relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and version control tools (Git)
• Clear communication ability and skill in translating technical concepts into business language
• Collaborative profile with an ownership mentality and focus on delivering value

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud architecture concepts
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with distributed architectures (microservices, messaging, event-driven systems)
• Participation in technical communities, open source contributions, speaking engagements, or technical writing

Position Details:

• Location: Brazil (Remote/Home Office)
• Employment Type: CLT (Brazilian labor law contract)
• Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-18:00, Friday 8:00-17:00 (Brazilian time)
