Commercial Account Executive (UK)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI platform company seeking a Commercial Account Executive based in London. In this role, you will drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, maintaining strong attention to follow-up and follow-through at every stage.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building and nurturing relationships with prospects and customers, understanding their technical needs and business challenges
• Prospecting strategically into SMB, mid-market, and small-enterprise accounts
• Supporting technical teams at innovative companies as they discover, evaluate, and adopt our client's solutions
• Collaborating closely with engineering and customer success teams to ensure successful implementations
• Sourcing, qualifying, and closing outbound deals with a high degree of independence

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a motivated sales professional with:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (SaaS or tech preferred)
• 1+ year of experience in a closing role focused on SMB, commercial, and mid-market accounts
• A strong track record of sourcing, qualifying, and closing outbound deals
• An execution mindset with the ability to excel in fast-paced environments and move with urgency
• A curious and solution-oriented approach—always finding ways to deepen your understanding of technology, your customer's business, and your craft
• Self-starter qualities and resourcefulness; you find ways to solve problems and move things forward independently
