About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential enterprise technology organization working with Fortune 100 clients on high-impact AI transformation initiatives. We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join their team supporting a major enterprise client in the financial services sector.

This is a 100% remote position based in India, offering the opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced AI platforms and executive finance business functions. You'll bridge technical AI engineering with direct business impact—translating complex financial challenges into production AI applications and driving measurable ROI.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Own the complete lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from stakeholder discovery through production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement
• Rapidly prototype vertical applications using modern frameworks (Streamlit, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces) within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback
• Build production-grade AI tools leveraging enterprise data platforms, implementing robust RAG pipelines with vector databases and LLM orchestration frameworks
• Deploy applications within heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance requirements (SOX, GxP)
• Integrate solutions with governed datasets and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, ERP systems) via secure REST APIs
• Work directly with senior Finance leadership to translate operational challenges into technical roadmaps and actionable solutions
• Instrument deployed applications with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one
• Extract reusable components, prompt templates, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Mindset:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment
• Product-minded builder with strong bias for action; comfortable shipping prototypes quickly over lengthy specification documents
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous business problems without predefined specifications
• Outstanding stakeholder communication skills with ability to interface directly with senior business leaders

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, React, or similar)
• Direct hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms (Snowflake Cortex or Databricks)
• Production experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex)
• Experience with vector search engines and prompt evaluation methodologies
• Deep working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
• Modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning)
• Foundational understanding of Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report)
• Familiarity with common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Forward Deployment Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies
• Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance
• Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials)
• Relevant certifications in cloud AI platforms
