About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an experienced MuleSoft Consultant to design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions. This is a 100% remote, full-time W2 position based in the United States.
In this role, you will own the integration lifecycle on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization. You'll partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on MuleSoft experience with strong API-led connectivity practices and engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Own the complete integration lifecycle from API design through production optimization
- Build APIs following API-led connectivity principles and RAML/OAS standards
- Deploy and manage Mule applications across CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid environments
- Implement API security using OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager
- Configure event-driven integrations with Anypoint MQ or Kafka
- Integrate with major SaaS platforms including Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow
- Partner with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions
- Conduct code reviews and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar for integration best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain comprehensive documentation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years of integration experience with strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime
- Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment models
- Experience with API security standards including OAuth2, mTLS, and JWT
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments
- Familiarity with event-driven integration patterns using Anypoint MQ or Kafka
- Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or ServiceNow
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- U.S. work authorization (U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply; new H-1B sponsorship is not available)
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials
- Exposure to multi-cloud deployment of Mule runtimes
- Familiarity with FinOps and integration cost management
- Experience implementing zero-trust API security models
- Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $125,000–$145,000 annually
