About the Role
We're seeking an experienced BASIS Administrator to manage our SAP landscape and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our enterprise systems. As a BASIS Administrator at Intuitive, you'll serve as a key technical resource, overseeing system health, user provisioning, and infrastructure management across our technology stack. This is an opportunity to work with a team that values technical excellence and continuous improvement in a collaborative remote environment based in Bengaluru.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor SAP system performance, availability, and resource utilisation using industry-standard diagnostic tools
- Manage user access, authentication, and role assignments across SAP applications
- Perform routine maintenance, including system backups, patching, and kernel upgrades
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to resolve performance bottlenecks
- Coordinate with development and operations teams on system changes and deployments
- Document configurations, procedures, and incidents for knowledge management
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience administering SAP BASIS systems in production environments
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix system administration
- Hands-on experience with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA)
- Familiarity with system monitoring, backup solutions, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
- Willingness to provide on-call support when required
