Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential public-sector consulting organization focused on sustainable mobility and clean transportation. This working student role provides data-driven support for projects related to alternative bus propulsion systems and public transit electrification initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing transportation and technology market data using Python and SQL to extract actionable insights
• Monitoring market and technology developments in the electric bus sector, tracking current trends and innovations
• Creating clear visualizations and graphics with Plotly to support market analysis and communicate complex findings
• Developing standardized Python functions for internal libraries
• Organizing and systematizing relevant data foundations to ensure knowledge is structured and accessible
• Researching program-relevant information and identifying new data sources
• Supporting the team with inquiries from policy, industry, and research stakeholders
• Assisting with meeting and event preparation, as well as smaller sub-projects and reporting tasks

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable program
• Basic knowledge of Python (especially pandas, Plotly), SQL (Redshift), and Git with eagerness to expand these skills
• Interest in public transportation electrification, particularly bus systems
• Experience preparing and visualizing information and data
• Interest in cloud-based IT architectures like AWS; practical experience is a plus
• Desire to learn about databases, data architectures, and data processing workflows in practice
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style
• Very good German language skills required for this role

The position offers flexible working hours (ideally 19.5 hours per week) designed to fit around your study schedule, with up to 60% remote work possible. Pay

Compensation is €15.00 per hour for Bachelor students and €16.00 per hour for Master students, plus an annual bonus payment.
