Skilled Residential Handyman (Marin)

Casa is seeking an experienced Skilled Residential Handyman to serve property owners in Marin County. As a contract-based technician, you'll deliver essential maintenance and repair services that keep homes functioning beautifully.

The Opportunity

This contract role offers flexible scheduling with approximately 10-40 hours per week at $40/hour. You'll handle maintenance and repairs for member homes while our team manages scheduling, homeowner communication, and parts sourcing, so you can focus on what you do best.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance on appliances and home systems following routine schedules—replacing filters, testing batteries, and performing regular checks that extend equipment life
• Complete residential repairs including artwork installation, drywall finishing, paint touch-ups, fixture adjustment, and similar interior projects with meticulous attention to detail
• Perform foundational electrical and plumbing work such as light fixture installation, thermostat setup, electrical outlet troubleshooting, switch replacement, faucet installation, and drain clearing
• Support property management needs including package reception, mail handling during vacancies, seasonal decoration installation, and vehicle maintenance assistance

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a handyman, residential technician, or property maintenance professional
• Solid command of repair and maintenance practices with a demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship
• Clear, courteous communication skills—both written and verbal—for regular interaction with homeowners
• Personal toolset and demonstrated competency in safe tool operation
• Reliable personal transportation and availability to travel throughout Marin County
• Valid driver's license and clearance from a background check
