Field Service Technician Senior – Rotator

Archrock is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician – Rotator to join our team in Pecos, Reeves County in a full-time position. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in gas compression and process equipment maintenance within a safety-focused, supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Field Service Technician – Rotator, you'll be the go-to technical expert for complex equipment issues across your assigned territory. You'll take ownership of maintenance and repair work on gas compression equipment and related process systems at customer locations, ensuring reliable, efficient operation. This is a hands-on field position where your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance procedures on gas compression and process equipment to established standards
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures, both routine and complex, at customer sites
• Serve as the technical resource and mentor for junior technicians, providing guidance on challenging issues within your assigned area
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
• Uphold rigorous health, safety, and environmental procedures in all field activities
• Create and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at each customer location
• Manage time effectively to service multiple customer locations in Pecos and surrounding areas

What You Bring

• Proven field service experience specializing in gas compression or process equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for mechanical and equipment systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and detailed work orders
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental compliance
• Excellent communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with teams
• Reliability and independence—you work autonomously while being part of the Archrock team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as required
