Field Service Technician Senior

Archrock is hiring an experienced Senior Field Service Technician in Big Spring, Howard County to keep natural gas compression and process equipment running safely and reliably at customer sites across the region.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician Senior with Archrock in Big Spring, Howard County, you will travel to customer locations to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gas compression and process equipment. This is a full-time, on-site position where you act as a go-to technical resource for the more complex challenges that arise in your assigned territory, helping less-experienced technicians and ensuring every job meets Archrock's high standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on gas compression and process equipment at customer sites, following direction as assigned.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) work to defined standards, keeping units operating at peak performance.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for advanced or unusual equipment issues within your area.
• Uphold a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
• Demonstrate and reinforce all health, safety, and environmental procedures on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience servicing gas compression and/or process equipment in a field setting.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical problems independently.
• Solid working knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and industry safety standards.
• Willingness to work on-site at customer locations in and around Big Spring, Howard County.
• A safety-first mindset and the dependability to represent Archrock professionally in the field.
