Diversey is hiring a Territory Account Specialist in Suffolk, Suffolk City to drive business growth and build strong customer relationships across an assigned territory. This is a full-time position offering the chance to represent a trusted global leader in water treatment and hygiene solutions.
About the Role
In this Territory Account Specialist position, you'll serve as the primary business contact for a portfolio of established accounts while identifying and developing new sales opportunities throughout your territory. You'll combine consultative selling with strategic account management to expand Diversey's footprint and create lasting value for customers.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a territory of assigned accounts, developing customized strategies for each customer
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through regular outreach and needs-based consulting
- Present water treatment chemistries, process aids, cleaning and disinfection products, and monitoring systems to address customer operational challenges
- Identify sales opportunities and pursue new business to meet territory growth targets
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements
- Provide technical product knowledge and support to ensure customer success with Diversey solutions
- Maintain account profitability and work toward assigned sales objectives
- Document customer interactions and opportunities in CRM systems and prepare regular activity reports
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, fulfill orders, and deliver exceptional service
What We're Looking For
- Background in account management, territory sales, or business development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Self-motivated professional comfortable working independently in a territory-based role
- Experience with CRM and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of water treatment, industrial hygiene, or cleaning products is a plus
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
- Problem-solving mindset and commitment to customer satisfaction
