Operational Risk Analyst

You'll work within the Risk Management Department of a leading financial institution, partnering with senior leaders and teams across business lines. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on organizational resilience by uncovering vulnerabilities, strengthening controls, and helping the company navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and operational landscape. Your insights will directly inform strategic risk decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze operational risks across business units and processes using data-driven methodologies and risk frameworks
• Develop and maintain risk assessments and impact evaluations that inform executive decision-making
• Collaborate with department heads and control owners to identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Monitor risk indicators and emerging trends, escalating threats to management
• Document risk findings in clear reports that translate complex analysis into actionable insights
• Support the design and implementation of risk mitigation strategies

What You Bring

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with comfort in data interpretation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse audiences
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to work independently or within teams
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks, financial services operations, or regulatory compliance (preferred)
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple workstreams
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools
