Role Overview

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist on this travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026, you'll deliver expert technical support in a fast-paced interventional cardiology environment. Working 12-hour night shifts over 36 hours per week, you'll be central to the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that define modern cardiac care. This full-time travel position offers competitive compensation of $2,197 per week.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare, sterilize, and organize cath lab equipment and instruments to strict safety and quality standards
  • Position patients and coordinate monitoring equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Operate fluoroscopy systems and assist physicians with guidewire placement, stent deployment, balloon angioplasty, and coronary angiography
  • Monitor hemodynamic data and vital signs throughout procedures, alerting the clinical team to any significant changes
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of procedures, materials used, and patient responses
  • Respond rapidly to emergency situations and support advanced cardiac life support protocols
  • Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, registered nurses, and perfusionists to optimize patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (RCCT) certification or equivalent credential
  • Active RN, LPN, or allied health professional licensure as required by Idaho state law
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on cath lab experience in a hospital or interventional setting
  • Solid knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ability to work night shifts and quickly adapt to different facility protocols and equipment systems
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to patient safety and teamwork
