Truist Bank is seeking a Retail Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Peachtree City branch in Fayette County, Georgia. This is a full-time position where you'll help homebuyers and refinancing customers navigate their mortgage options and secure financing.

As a Retail Mortgage Loan Originator at Truist Bank, you'll be the trusted advisor guiding clients through one of their most significant financial decisions. You'll work directly with borrowers to understand their goals, evaluate their financial situation, and structure loan products that fit their needs. Your role combines relationship-building, financial analysis, and product expertise to drive loan originations and client satisfaction in our local market.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective borrowers to discuss mortgage goals and gather financial information
• Analyze borrower creditworthiness and recommend appropriate loan programs and terms
• Prepare and present loan options, including rate quotes and product comparisons
• Guide clients through the application and documentation process
• Maintain compliance with lending regulations and Truist Bank policies
• Build and nurture client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business
• Manage your pipeline and track loan progress from application through closing

Who We're Looking For

• Valid mortgage loan originator license or ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of mortgage products, lending guidelines, and underwriting standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
• Ability to explain complex financial products in clear, accessible language
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with banking software systems and basic computer applications
• Commitment to ethical lending practices and regulatory compliance
