Aya Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a full-time travel assignment in Tyler, Texas, with a competitive pay range of $2,102 to $2,295 per week. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a dynamic healthcare setting.

What This Role Involves

As an MRI Technologist with Aya Healthcare, you'll operate advanced magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images that support patient care and clinical outcomes. Your expertise will be essential to our Tyler healthcare partners as they serve the local community throughout Smith County. This travel position runs for 13 weeks, beginning July 27, 2026, with a rotating shift schedule.

Core Duties

• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate MRI scanner equipment according to established protocols and quality standards
• Apply knowledge of anatomical imaging to capture diagnostic-quality images
• Monitor patient vital signs and response during procedures
• Communicate with physicians and clinical teams regarding imaging requirements
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Support scheduling and workflow coordination within the imaging department

What We're Looking For

• Valid MRI Technologist certification or license (state requirements vary)
• Current ARRT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of clinical MRI experience
• Strong understanding of MRI physics and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work rotating 4-day/10-hour shifts
• Flexibility and professionalism in a travel healthcare environment
• Current CPR certification
