Graduate Nurse (GN)

Position Summary

As a Graduate Nurse at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, you'll provide direct patient care while working under the guidance of licensed nursing supervisors. This full-time role focuses on supporting the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of residents with Alzheimer's disease and related memory disorders. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to maintain safety, dignity, and quality of life for every resident in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene to promote resident independence
• Monitor and report vital signs, patient condition changes, and observations to supervising nurses
• Support medication administration and ensure accurate documentation of nursing interventions
• Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and the care team regarding patient needs and progress
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and care plans
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations and Life Care standards

What You Bring

• Current or pending RN licensure
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine compassion for seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's and dementia
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Flexibility and resilience in a healthcare environment
