NDNH Community Engagement Specialist Coordinator

The Salvation Army seeks an NDNH Community Engagement Specialist Coordinator at our William Penn Annex East location in Philadelphia County. This full-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to strengthen community connections and advance social services in the Philadelphia area through direct outreach and partnership development.

The Opportunity

As an NDNH Community Engagement Specialist Coordinator with The Salvation Army's Philadelphia Social Service Ministries, you'll work evening hours (12pm–8pm, Monday through Friday) to expand the organization's reach and deepen relationships with residents and community partners. Reporting directly to the NDNH Manager, you'll play a critical role in program delivery and community trust-building. This full-time position is compensated at $21.25 per hour. Your efforts will enable The Salvation Army to better serve vulnerable populations and strengthen neighborhood resilience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and engagement activities in the William Penn Annex East area and surrounding communities
• Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, service providers, and community leaders
• Assist in coordinating and facilitating community programs and events
• Support program participants and connect individuals to services
• Collect data and document program activities for reporting and evaluation
• Assist the NDNH Manager with administrative tasks and program logistics
