About This Position

As a Personal Banker at PNC, you're the financial expert our customers turn to for guidance on checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and wealth management options. This full-time role combines personalized customer service with consultative sales to grow client relationships and drive branch performance. Working directly with individuals and families in Trenton, you'll identify financial needs, recommend tailored solutions, and become a trusted advisor they rely on for their most important banking decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers, open accounts, and manage ongoing client relationships with professionalism and care
• Recommend and sell deposit accounts, credit products, loans, and investment services based on customer goals
• Process transactions, verify documentation, and maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
• Address customer questions, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed, accurate account records
• Grow your customer base through relationship building, referrals, and proactive outreach
• Partner with branch colleagues to deliver consistent, exceptional service experiences
• Meet sales goals and service standards while upholding the highest ethical and professional conduct

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college or prior banking experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust across diverse customer bases
• Comfort with banking systems, financial software, and standard business applications
• Sales orientation with talent for understanding customer needs and presenting relevant solutions
• Careful attention to detail with unwavering commitment to regulatory compliance and data protection
