Technology PMO Intake Coordinator

Legence is hiring a Technology PMO Intake Coordinator to manage enterprise technology requests and initiatives in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. This full-time role serves as the critical intake gateway for all new technology, software, systems, and applications coming into the organization.

What This Role Involves

The Technology PMO Intake Coordinator designs and operates the intake mechanism that allows teams across the organization to propose, request, and receive approval for new technology solutions. You'll manage the complete intake funnel—from the moment someone submits a technology request through governance review, executive decision-making, and project handoff to implementation teams. Your work ensures that every technology investment aligns with business strategy, meets compliance requirements, and receives appropriate oversight before launch. This is a hands-on role that combines process design, stakeholder coordination, and data management to create a structured, transparent technology governance system.

Responsibilities

• Collect technology requests from across the organization using established submission processes and intake forms
• Qualify and categorize requests by type, urgency, scope, and business alignment
• Prepare intake documentation and summary materials for governance review committees
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather missing information and clarify project scope
• Track requests and projects through approval, decision, and implementation phases
• Communicate approval decisions, denials, and next steps to project requesters
• Maintain intake databases, records, and process documentation
• Generate reporting and metrics on technology intake trends for leadership
• Identify and recommend improvements to intake processes and governance workflows

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience with PMO functions, intake processes, or technology governance
• Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
• Proficiency with project management software, tracking tools, and office applications
• Experience designing or managing workflows and standard operating procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and drive to continuously improve processes
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests simultaneously
