About the Role
This is a full-time, hybrid Investment Funds Associate Attorney position based in Miami or Palm Beach, Florida. You will join the growing investment funds team of an AmLaw 200 firm, advising a diverse client base on fund formation, structuring, and ongoing operational matters. The role suits an attorney who enjoys close client contact and wants meaningful ownership of complex transactional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel private fund sponsors, asset managers, family offices, and institutional clients across the lifecycle of their investment vehicles.
- Support the formation, structuring, and launch of private investment funds and related entities.
- Draft, negotiate, and review fund documentation and investor-facing agreements.
- Collaborate with partners and cross-practice colleagues to deliver responsive, commercially minded legal advice.
- Help grow the firm's Florida investment funds practice through strong client service.
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in investment funds, private funds, or related transactional work.
- Familiarity advising private fund sponsors, asset managers, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-relationship skills.
- Willingness to work on a hybrid basis from the Miami or Palm Beach office.
