Position Summary

This travel assignment positions you as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Bentonville community through a temporary 13-week engagement. Working 40 hours per week on day shifts with 8-hour daily schedules, you'll partner with a therapy team to deliver patient care while gaining exposure to a new clinical environment. The role combines hands-on patient support with operational responsibilities in a standard healthcare facility setting.

Core Duties

• Collaborate with physical therapists to administer prescribed therapeutic interventions
• Prepare and organize treatment spaces, equipment, and supplies for patient sessions
• Record patient performance, clinical observations, and therapy responses in medical records
• Support patient positioning, transfers, and safety during rehabilitation activities
• Demonstrate and teach home exercise programs and self-care techniques to patients
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all therapy equipment and clinical spaces
• Communicate patient status and clinical findings to the supervising therapist and care team

What We're Looking For

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant certification and Arkansas state licensure
• Experience delivering direct patient care in rehabilitation or therapy settings
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques and patient handling principles
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols and therapist direction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations
• Physical capability to regularly lift, transfer, and support patients (typically 50+ pounds)
