What This Role Involves
As Managing Senior Counsel for Board of Pharmacy Enforcement, you will serve as the primary legal advisor on pharmacy enforcement, regulatory compliance, and board governance matters. Your work will directly support CVS Health's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice and public health protection through sound legal counsel and enforcement oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on pharmacy enforcement matters and regulatory compliance
- Review, analyze, and advise on enforcement actions, board decisions, and compliance procedures
- Develop and implement legal strategies for complex pharmacy regulation and discipline cases
- Coordinate with board members, pharmacy professionals, and compliance teams on legal matters
- Ensure all enforcement actions align with state and federal pharmacy regulations and legal standards
- Manage legal documentation, case files, and board records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support board meetings, governance functions, and legal proceedings
Who We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in Rhode Island or ability to obtain one
- Substantial professional experience in pharmacy law, healthcare law, or regulatory enforcement
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and board of pharmacy enforcement procedures
- Demonstrated expertise in administrative law and regulatory compliance matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
