Role Overview

As an Hourly Assistant Manager at our Jack In The Box location, you'll be a key member of our leadership team, reporting to the General Manager while managing daily operations and supporting crew members. Your role bridges crew supervision and restaurant management, ensuring every guest receives the quality service and food they expect from us. You'll work full-time, maintaining our standards for cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction while building a strong, motivated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train crew members during your shifts, modeling strong work ethic and hospitality
• Oversee food preparation, order accuracy, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
• Manage cash registers, handle customer payments, and maintain till accuracy at shift end
• Execute opening and closing procedures according to company standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering
• Maintain a clean, organized restaurant environment and ensure health and safety compliance
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Communicate directly with the General Manager about crew performance and operational needs
• Assist with crew scheduling and coverage as needed
• Follow all food safety protocols and company operational procedures

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in food service, fast casual, or quick-service restaurant environments
• Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, or crew training experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and productive during busy service periods
• Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled hours
• Knowledge of food safety practices or willingness to train and certify
• Guest-focused mindset with genuine interest in creating positive customer experiences
