Delivery Truck Driver

As a Delivery Truck Driver in Benton Ridge, you'll be at the center of this operation, moving essential products to the customers we serve daily. What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial truck to transport food and grocery merchandise to scheduled customer locations
• Execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining full compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
• Load, unload, and secure freight, assisting customers at delivery points when needed
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries
• Uphold McLane's reputation through safe driving and courteous customer interactions

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with air brake endorsement
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical certification
• Proven experience operating commercial vehicles in delivery or transportation roles
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Punctuality and dependability in meeting delivery schedules
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Physical capability to perform loading, unloading, and related job duties
