Senior Enterprise Architect

UFCU Main seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect in Balcones, Travis County to lead enterprise technology strategy and governance for this financial services organization. The Opportunity

As Senior Enterprise Architect at UFCU Main, you'll own the long-term evolution of enterprise systems that underpin financial operations serving thousands of members. This is a leadership position where architecture decisions directly impact institutional capability, compliance posture, and competitive advantage. You'll design target-state platforms, establish governance frameworks, and guide high-impact transformation initiatives across the organization.

Core Duties

• Develop and execute enterprise architecture strategy aligned with UFCU's business objectives and market position
• Design target-state technology architectures that drive scalability, security, and operational resilience
• Establish architecture governance frameworks, standards, and review processes across enterprise systems
• Architect security-first solutions that embed protection and compliance throughout the platform
• Ensure all enterprise systems meet financial services regulatory requirements and audit standards
• Lead solution architecture for strategic initiatives and digital transformation programs
• Foster enterprise architecture capability through team mentoring and technical leadership
• Design for interoperability, integration, and scalability across heterogeneous technology environments

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, including 5+ years in a senior architect or leadership role
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and governance methodologies
• Demonstrated proficiency designing secure, scalable systems for regulated industries
• Strong background in financial services architecture, compliance, and regulatory readiness
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, API design, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns
• Ability to communicate complex architecture to C-suite executives and technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or comparable enterprise architecture certification preferred
