About the Role
As Café Services Supervisor, you'll oversee daily café operations while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Working 28 hours per week with open availability, you'll combine front-of-house hospitality with behind-the-scenes leadership. Reporting to the General Manager of Café Services, you'll maintain high service standards, manage team performance, and represent the museum's commitment to excellence both in food service and guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver knowledgeable, personalized customer service to museum visitors and café guests
- Communicate menu offerings, daily specials, and recommendations with confidence and professionalism
- Train, coach, and mentor café staff to meet service excellence standards
- Lead and oversee café operations during assigned shifts
- Maintain operational standards including cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Who We're Looking For
- Proven supervisory or team lead experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing environments
- Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and deep commitment to guest satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
