About the Role
As Bookkeeping / Reporting Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is recorded with precision and every report tells our company's true financial story. Your work directly supports executive decision-making and helps leadership understand our financial health at a glance. You'll manage the day-to-day mechanics of bookkeeping while developing the analytical skills that make great finance professionals.
Core Duties
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure proper categorization of expenses
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and financial documentation
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial work
- Proficiency with bookkeeping software and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
- Ability to organize complex financial data and communicate findings clearly
