The Opportunity
Spartan Investment Group's construction division, Spartan Construction - SCM, is expanding its team to deliver exceptional projects from start to finish. As Superintendent, you'll manage daily site operations, ensure quality workmanship, and coordinate all trades to meet timelines and budgets. This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building structures that last.
Core Duties
- Oversee all aspects of daily construction operations and site management
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trade teams
- Monitor schedule adherence, budgets, and project milestones
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve construction issues
- Communicate project status to ownership, general contractors, and stakeholders
- Document progress through reports, photos, and daily logs
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of construction management or field superintendent experience
- Proven track record on commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
- Leadership ability and experience managing multiple trades and crews
- Familiarity with construction scheduling software and project management tools
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
- Colorado construction license or ability to obtain one
- Professional communication skills and attention to detail
