About the Role

As an Advanced Interior Designer at Restoration Hardware, you'll develop comprehensive interior design solutions that reflect the brand's commitment to refined aesthetics and impeccable craftsmanship. Working in our Belle Haven showroom and with clients throughout Fairfield County, you'll translate client vision into elegant, functional spaces that showcase our selected collection of luxury home furnishings and architectural elements.

What You'll Do

• Consult with high-net-worth clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project vision
• Create detailed design concepts, floor plans, and material selections using industry-standard design software
• Select from Restoration Hardware's finest furnishings, textiles, lighting, and finishes to create cohesive interior schemes
• Present design proposals and mood boards to clients with clear rationales for aesthetic and functional choices
• Manage full-scope residential or commercial projects from initial concept through installation and completion
• Source specialty items, coordinate with vendors, and oversee quality control throughout the design process
• Build lasting client relationships and drive repeat business through design excellence

What We're Looking For

• Proven advanced-level interior design experience, ideally in high-end residential or luxury commercial markets
• Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated color theory, spatial planning, material knowledge, and aesthetic refinement
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D visualization tools
• Deep knowledge of interior design principles, architectural styles, and contemporary luxury trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to affluent, detail-oriented clients
• Strong project management skills and ability to oversee budgets and timelines
• Passion for luxury home design and familiarity with high-end furnishings and finishes preferred
