What You'll Do
- Provide small-group instruction and one-on-one support to reinforce core academic skills in reading, math, science, and social studies
- Work under the direction of certified teachers to implement lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with district standards
- Assist with classroom management, student behavior support, and a positive learning environment
- Prepare instructional materials, organize classroom resources, and maintain accurate student records
- Support students with special needs or English language learners through differentiated instruction and targeted interventions
- Collaborate with teachers on progress monitoring and communicate student progress to parents as directed
- Model appropriate behavior and professionalism to support student social-emotional development

- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in education or child development preferred
