Maintenance Technician I

Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Providence Place in Corinth, Denton County. As a core member of our residential operations, you'll keep our community running smoothly by maintaining systems, responding to resident needs, and ensuring everything is in top working order.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you'll be the person residents and management count on when maintenance issues arise or preventive work is needed. You'll troubleshoot problems, perform repairs across building systems, and maintain detailed records of your work. This is a full-time role where your contributions directly impact resident satisfaction and property value.

What You'll Do

• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, and grounds
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and execute repairs safely
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, inventory supplies, and track equipment
• Document all maintenance activities and communicate updates to management
• Follow all safety protocols and building codes in your work
• Assist with grounds maintenance and seasonal property upkeep as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related trade
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and learn new systems quickly
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and professionalism with residents
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
