Supervisor – Call Center (Temporary, Remote McAllen, TX)

Join Maximus as a Call Center Supervisor in a full-time remote position. This role is based in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, and directly supports our McAllen, Texas operations.

About the Role

As a Call Center Supervisor at Maximus, you'll lead a team of customer service representatives in delivering excellent support while maintaining operational excellence. In this remote supervisory position, you'll be responsible for ensuring your team meets quality standards, service levels, and performance expectations.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily call center operations, monitoring staff adherence to quality standards, response protocols, and established procedures
• Identify performance gaps and coaching opportunities; provide feedback and corrective measures when standards aren't being met
• Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams to interview candidates, evaluate qualifications, and recommend staff for hiring and promotion
• Design and manage work schedules that ensure adequate team coverage and operational continuity
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and delegate responsibilities to direct reports with clear expectations
• Monitor performance metrics and report on team progress, bringing escalations to management as needed

What We're Looking For

• Supervisory or team lead experience in a call center, contact center, or customer service environment
• Knowledge of contact center operations, quality standards, and performance management practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to lead, develop, and engage diverse teams
• Experience managing schedules, staffing levels, and workforce operations
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify operational issues and implement solutions
