About the Role

As a Call Center Supervisor at Maximus, you'll take on a leadership position overseeing daily operations of our contact center team. This temporary full-time role combines hands-on supervision with strategic team development, requiring you to maintain exceptional service standards while driving team performance in a remote work environment.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily performance of call center representatives, ensuring adherence to quality standards, service level agreements, and operational procedures
  • Coach and mentor team members, addressing performance gaps and providing real-time corrective feedback
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to identify, interview, and recommend candidates for hiring and advancement opportunities
  • Create and manage team schedules and work assignments to meet business demands while ensuring adequate staffing coverage
  • Monitor call quality, handle escalations, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Track key metrics and prepare reporting to support management visibility on team performance and operational outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience supervising customer service or call center teams in a quality-focused environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Proficiency with workforce management tools, scheduling software, and call center technology platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining clear communication with management and cross-functional partners
  • Solid understanding of call center operations, quality assurance, and performance metrics
  • Detail-oriented approach to coaching, training, and documentation
