Production Assembler – 1st shift

Channell Commercial Corp is hiring a Production Assembler – 1st shift (part-time) at our facility in Nellis Air Force Base, Clark County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a 100+ year-old company that designs and manufactures critical infrastructure equipment for telecommunications, utilities, and internet service providers.

About the Role

As a Production Assembler on our 1st shift team, you'll be a core part of our manufacturing operation, assembling and preparing outside plant infrastructure products that serve customers across multiple industries. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling while contributing to products that power communications and utility networks nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Assemble fabricated metal and thermoplastic enclosures and components according to specifications and work orders
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Perform precision work using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
• Organize and track materials, components, and finished products
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules
• Follow safety protocols and workplace procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly work with attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety
• Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus
