Claremont seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the team at Viva Lakeshore, a senior living community in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly compensation.

About the Role

As Maintenance Technician at Viva Lakeshore in Bridgewater, you'll be the backbone of our facility's operations, ensuring every resident enjoys a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer-focused problem-solving in a fast-paced senior living setting.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, prioritizing safety and comfort
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility systems to minimize downtime and costly emergency repairs
• Maintain equipment, grounds, and common areas to the high standards our residents deserve
• Document work orders, track maintenance inventory, and report issues to management
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and respond calmly to multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful approach to working with seniors
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual labor regularly
• Valid certifications (EPA, HVAC, or equivalent) are a plus

Position Details

Location: 5 Lakeshore Center, Bridgewater, MA. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Wednesdays and Sundays off. Hourly rate: $23.00–$26.00, based on experience.
