About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to drive electrical architecture, design, and integration for our space systems programs. In this leadership role, you'll own complex technical decisions, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver systems critical to national defense.
What You'll Do
- Lead and architect electrical systems for space and aerospace defense platforms
- Conduct comprehensive power analysis, thermal management, and signal integrity assessments
- Direct electrical system design reviews and technical validation activities
- Collaborate across mechanical, software, and systems engineering to integrate electrical components into complete platforms
- Mentor and develop electrical engineering talent on cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards and specifications
- Develop and execute test plans to validate electrical system performance and reliability
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace, space, or defense applications
- Demonstrated expertise in power systems, RF/analog design, power distribution, or high-reliability electrical architecture
- Proven experience with spacecraft, satellite, or aircraft electrical systems and integration
- Leadership track record mentoring technical teams and influencing engineering decisions
- Strong knowledge of aerospace electrical standards, specifications, and best practices (MIL-SPEC, IPC, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional areas
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline; MS preferred
