Producer, CNN VOD Streaming

Join Warner Bros. Discovery as a Producer specializing in CNN Video-on-Demand streaming content. This full-time position is based in Manhattan at Grand Central, where you'll help shape how audiences engage with news and investigative documentary content across our streaming platforms.

About the Role

As a VOD Streaming Producer for CNN, you'll oversee the strategy and execution of video content releases on our streaming services. You'll work at the convergence of editorial excellence, platform technology, and audience engagement—partnering with journalists, newsroom teams, and digital distribution partners to deliver compelling stories to viewers nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Manage the complete lifecycle of video content from production through platform publishing, ensuring quality standards and optimal viewer experience
• Develop and execute content calendars and publishing schedules designed to maximize engagement on VOD platforms
• Partner with editorial and reporting teams to identify high-impact stories suited for streaming distribution
• Review and optimize video metadata, closed captions, keywords, and technical specifications for platform compliance
• Analyze viewership data and audience insights to refine content strategy and inform programming decisions
• Coordinate with marketing and promotion teams to drive awareness and subscriber growth around featured content
• Monitor streaming platform performance trends and audience behavior to stay ahead of evolving viewing preferences

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of professional experience in media production, streaming platforms, digital video, or content strategy
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards
• Familiarity with news production environments and documentary-style content; streaming platform experience preferred
• Comfort with content management systems, streaming analytics tools, and video optimization workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across editorial, technical, and marketing teams
• Comfort working in a dynamic, deadline-driven newsroom culture
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, media, broadcast, business, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
