Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Staff Product Designer, Editorial Platforms to shape the digital tools and experiences behind some of the world's most recognized storytelling brands, based in Washington, D.C.

About the Role

As a Staff Product Designer focused on editorial platforms, you will lead the design of the systems that empower writers, editors, and content creators across Warner Bros. Discovery. This is a senior, hands-on role in Washington, D.C., where craft, strategy, and collaboration come together to support the publishing tools behind iconic content and beloved brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end design vision for editorial and publishing platforms, from concept through delivery.
• Translate complex content workflows into intuitive, scalable interfaces for editorial teams.
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and content stakeholders to define and refine product direction.
• Build and maintain design patterns and components that bring consistency across tools and experiences.
• Champion user-centered practices, conducting research and testing to validate design decisions.
• Mentor fellow designers and raise the bar for design quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a product designer, with a portfolio demonstrating staff-level impact on complex software.
• Deep fluency in interaction design, visual design, and modern design systems.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and lead design work across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to advocate for the user at every stage.
• Experience designing for editorial, content management, or publishing platforms is a strong advantage.
