About the Role

As an Intervention Specialist Teacher, you'll work with students who benefit from small-group and one-on-one instruction tailored to their unique learning needs. This is a hands-on role where you'll assess student progress, design intervention strategies, and monitor growth over time. What You'll Do

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student learning needs and areas requiring intervention support
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on data and student progress
• Deliver targeted small-group and pull-out instruction focused on reading, math, or other core academic areas
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school teams to coordinate interventions and share progress updates
• Use formative assessments and data analysis to adjust instructional approaches and track student growth
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and intervention strategies
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and intervention outcomes
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings to support school-wide goals

What We're Looking For

• Valid Ohio State Department of Education License as an Intervention Specialist Teacher (required)
• Strong background in assessing and supporting students with learning differences
• Demonstrated ability to use data to inform instructional decisions
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and evidence-based intervention practices
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
