About the Role
As an Adult Education Intern with the IRC, you'll support our humanitarian efforts to restore opportunity and stability in communities affected by conflict and disaster. This internship provides direct experience in adult-focused education and workforce development programs within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing, organizing, and delivering adult education and training programming
- Support program staff in curriculum planning and participant engagement activities
- Contribute to data collection and program evaluation efforts
- Help coordinate educational resources and materials for adult learners
- Engage with program participants and community members in a culturally responsive manner
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in a related field (education, international development, social services, or similar)
- Genuine passion for humanitarian work and adult education
