Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Crystal Mountain, you'll be the backbone of our operational infrastructure. Your work keeps our lodge systems, outdoor facilities, and guest areas functioning safely and efficiently throughout every season. Whether it's winter snow management, spring maintenance cycles, summer guest preparation, or fall equipment servicing, this full-time position offers variety and real responsibility in a mountain environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Inspect and repair building fixtures, equipment, and grounds to maintain safety standards
• Respond to maintenance requests from guest areas, employee facilities, and operational spaces
• Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal preparations
• Troubleshoot mechanical and system problems and implement solutions
• Keep detailed maintenance records and report on facility conditions
• Support safe operations across the resort's facilities and grounds

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related mechanical work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools
• Physical fitness to work outdoors and in varying mountain conditions
• Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule in a year-round mountain operation
