Claim Assist Solutions is seeking a full-time General Liability Adjuster with a New York license to join our claims management team. You'll take ownership of complex liability claims, guiding each case from initial investigation through final resolution while protecting our clients' interests.
About the Role
As a General Liability Adjuster for Claim Assist Solutions, you'll manage a portfolio of moderate to high-complexity liability claims requiring skilled analysis and sound judgment. This position offers the opportunity to apply deep expertise in liability principles while building meaningful client relationships through professional claims resolution.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough investigations of liability claims, including site inspections and witness interviews
- Evaluate policy coverage, exclusions, and claim validity against policy terms
- Assess damages and liability exposure with precision and attention to detail
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties in good faith
- Document case activities, findings, and decisions in comprehensive claims files
- Communicate regularly with clients, insureds, and legal counsel throughout the claims process
- Manage deadlines and regulatory requirements to ensure timely claim closure
What We're Looking For
- Current New York license as a General Liability Adjuster, or eligibility to obtain one
- Proven experience investigating and resolving liability claims of moderate to high complexity
- Strong understanding of legal liability concepts and their application to insurance claims
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional judgment and ethical standards in all client interactions
